Why does he tilt his head ALL the time?

Is this an old age thing or years of being too tall (with or without hat !) to fit through a doorway..??

I am watching him look old in "Grace and Frankie" ...and "The Ranch"
obviously I am a fan, but the head thing is starting to distract me...

reply

Agree, very odd.

Having watched both I think you might be overthinking. He's a fabulous part of my fandom over the years!

reply

That's just part of his schtick. He's been doing that since, I'd say, the late '70s.

Similar to the Clint Eastwood slouch, the Kris Kristofferson stiff legged walk, or the Robert Duvall crotch-grab.

What kind?
...The Forever Kind.

Actors tend to know how they look best.

Notice how in his prime, Warren Beatty always had to be photographed from one side.

Same with Cary Grant. In "North by Northwest," you can see all the other actors move around in a circle until Grant can move to be photographed from "his best side."

I'm afraid Sam Elliott was less subtle about it....

reply

You could ask George Clooney the same thing.

reply

Clooney's a head wobbler. Funko Pop should get on it.

Clooney and Leno are both bobbleheads.

Reminds me of that Taco Bell commercial where people were turning their heads to eat tacos, and they were getting stuck that way.

Then a few pussies who actually had that condition complained, and that was the end of that.

reply

He has an asymmetrical face, one side is longer than the other, but you can't really notice it unless from a straight, frontal view, tilting his head or posing from an angle hides this...
