Jessica Chastain's production company hires nothing but male directors and one of them even had a domestic violence record (he was forced to step down, but they still used his screenplay). It's very hard to believe that Chastain wasn't tipped off at some point. I mean, it's all over his Wikipedia page and countless people are involved with PR and film productions.
