'Person of Color' is so offensive. You must apologize for posting this.
shareWhy would her surname mean she's a "POC"? Diaz is originally a Spanish surname and Spaniards are white. The reason so many Latin American people with Spanish names are not white is that they descend from the native South Americans that mixed with Europeans (if they even mixed). It's like saying someone named Jackson or Smith can't be white just because there are African-Americans with that surname.
By the way, the term "person of color" is absolutely stupid. Everybody is a person of color, unless someone happens to be transparent.
The goverment gives her minority status.
