All actors that think their political views have validity just because they are famous are laughable and pathetic. I don't like Alec Baldwin's politics, but at least he had the balls enough to start his own political talk show and actually be involved and back up his sentiment. Just bitching because you have a platform is sad. Remember all of the celebs that said they'd move if Trump was elected? All sad losers with no conviction.

I don't remember him mocking Trump in 'Taxi Driver', or 'The Deer Hunter', or even 'Once Upon a Time in America'. And I can't be wrong. I've seen these movies dozens of times!

You know, Trump is garbage but slightly less garbage than Clinton was. It is what it is.

As for De Niro? I lost more respect for him for doing disposable comedy flicks than his political blabbing. He has (or had) a genuine talents that he let waste away. Political commentary wasn't among them.

Anyway as for the topic at hand. lol at some of these comments. When it comes down to it the man has every right to express his opinion just like any other in this country. So no, I haven't lost any respect for him. I agree with him, but even if I didn't like I said, it's his right to say how he feels just like you have a right to come on sites like the old imdb board and here to express how you feel.
