His highest rated movie is at #63 on imdb

Shining sitting only at #63 is a bit surprising. You'd expect his films to be higher up on imdb. Strangelove is at #70 and 2001 at #93.

The older films got pushed out. Perhaps it is the same for Hitchcock.

And rightly so. Infinity War and Across the Spiderverse are far better than any of his boring movies where nothing happens!

Yes, rightly so Ackbar

Avatar: The Way of Water (2022)

How about those 21st Century special effects?

Sure beats anything Stanley Kubrick or Alfred Hitchcock ever did. They were so 20th Century.

And just a few oscars.
So you have realized only now that imdb, oscars and ANY rating system for art is bullshit?!?!?

Let me tell you another secret: the Pope is Catholic!!!

Yes. Except, of course, for the "Top 14"

Note that only 21st Century works are listed. None of that old "classic" stuff.

"While this is an incredible time in history for television, it’s an even better time for podcasts. Many have dubbed the present “the Golden Age” because of the astounding quality and quantity of audio shows. Series like This American Life and Radiolab have been in the game for decades, while newbies like those from Gimlet Media and Wondery are experimenting with the medium in new and exciting ways."

It's all those kids giving Marvel movies and such tens. Pushes out the actual classics.
