According to the recent Closer mag, she dated the folk singer briefly in the mid 70's, when he was separated from first wife Annie. She was divorced. I recall John's biopic was on TV years ago, Unfortunately, I never saw it. I recall liking a few of his songs as a kid. I hope somebody does one on Doris. She lead an interesting life.

Warner Bros TV are said to be doing a Doris Day biopic as a series. Doris will be played by Kaley Cuoco if the rumours are correct.
