It’s really hard to dislike him, I‘ll be honest. The kid’s antics are so innocently amusing, and he is oddly captivating to watch (McAvoy was simply astonishing). And what about his big dance scene? EPIC! Lol.

I genuinely look forward to seeing his character again; I love whenever he pops up in the sequel’s trailer etcetera. McAvoy is bloody fantastic in the role/s.

I don't have a TV so hadn't yet seen the trailer...that dance scene? That was such a "Holy hell is this really happening" moment that it was freaky as hell on first viewing. Right up until he nods knowingly, saying, "I know" LOL
He was like...yup, that was amazing beyond words...you don't have to say a thing.

Talk about great writing. It was at that point, at least for me, that you realized that he really WAS Hedwig. I mean...as unsettling and creepy as it looked, she wasn't in any danger at all. There wasn't any malice..just a little kid hoping to impress a girl. Totally innocent...was such a funny tension breaker.

Loved the lisp!

There were endearing parts and funny stuff with that character, but I got a real sinister vibe, too. Particularly near the end, it seemed like Hedwig might have had more control (and therefore, culpability) than he initially let on.
