I hope Chuck dies violently

It pisses me off how this sick degenerate old loser slob is plotting to destroy jimmy

reply

Haha, I think sweet justice will be if Gus or Mike are the ones that take out Chuck, as well as exposing his BS anti-electromagnetic field premise being a ruse the entire time, though I thought that was revealed midway Season 1 and has since been forgotten about...

reply

I don't think it's a ruse; he seems to be genuinely convinced that it's real. But it's not, so it's just mental illness on his part. If it was a ruse, he wouldn't be so consistent about it even when nobody else is around.

reply

You're right. I don't remember Chuck was in Breaking Bad, so he could be taken out. He could end up in a mental institution because of his "condition." Or he has health problems and dies. What we do know is Chuck thinks his brother is Slippin' Jimmy no matter what he accomplishes, so I think he'll try to get Jimmy disbarred or go to jail over the tape. Something has to happen between those two as this has been building up for some time.

I'm kinda embarrassed now. Just found the official teaser trailers for season 3 which I hadn't seen before. So is this what turns him into Saul Goodman? It's the second time Jimmy's been betrayed by Chuck. Jimmy got even, but stupidly confessed to Chuck what he did.

Ok, this is probably the last season. I can't see how they can stretch him not becoming Saul for another season with all the stuff that has been revealed so far. They may have revealed too much already. Maybe they can get one more season out of this as Jimmy as Saul until he meets you know who.

reply

The plan was for the show to eventually run in parallel with Breaking Bad, and there's plenty of story they can tell. Saul was only in a small portion of BB. They don't need to kill off Kim and they don't need to kill off Chuck. We never once saw Saul's personal life on BB.

It's actually quite flexible.

What they can't do is do anything that contradicts statements made in BB before, during, and after the BB period.

Obviously, we are going to see plenty more of the Black & White 'Gene' Adventures, but only one segment per season.

reply

The second worse thing that could happen to Chuck is that he gets disbarred. The worst thing is Jimmy becomes a hero and is liked by others better than him. We already know that Jimmy got the second worse thing.

reply

The worst thing that could happen to Chuck would be for him to convince himself that Jimmy "tricked" their parents into loving Jimmy more, even though Chuck was always the "good boy", and it has already happened.

reply

If the "Ernesto related to Gus" theory turns out to be true, and Chuck tries to bury Ernesto for trying to help Jimmy, things could get complicated...

reply

But Chuck has no reason to be upset with Ernesto. Ernesto did exactly what Chuck wanted him to do.

I don't wish for his death, but I wouldn't feel bad about some bad stuff happening to him.
