At least the Force Awakens wasn't a "total" reboot (I like it by the way).

Now, I knew there was a bigger chance of a Matrix reboot happening than say, a Matrix 4, so I'm not surprised by this one bit. Many felt the last two Matrix movies were disappointing, but they weren't exactly unnecessary as far as I see it. But a reboot of the series? Ugh.

For what it's worth, I would have liked to see Keanu as Neo again.
