I just watched Richard Gere in the movie "PRIMAL FEAR" with Edward Norton and then, a few weeks back, I watched Richard Gere in The MOTHMAN PROPHECIES which was a good creepy atmospheric type of movie.. I don't know, I'd rate him 5 Gerbils out of 10.. He got the job done but was nothing to write home about.. He's probably retired now

Maybe it’s due to always playing the same type of role but he is very workman like in his performances. Lacking passion.

He's a decent actor, I guess. I liked him in Chicago. He was a good fit for that part. Kind of a handsome actor, type.
