8/10 seems fair, though I'd probably rate him 7.8/10. He always turns out a good performance, I'm just not a fan of a lot of the movies he's in.
shareI pretty much agree. The only film of his I own is Dead Poets Society. He hasn't really done an amazing film.
shareI love that, Gattaca, Training Day and maybe White Fang though it's been years since I've re-watched it. I do think they're amazing to some degree, but he seems to have preferred a more low-key career and I respect that, but it's not made me a majority of his work any more enjoyable.

He's in a new one where he plays a gay guy. That's takes depth for a straight actor.
His draw back is that he's meant to represent "your average white guy". So it could get cheesy. Still, he's a serious actor so 8/10.
Which film is that? I haven't seen him in anything since his cameo in Glass Onion.
