The Nice Thing About A Place Like This..

You can slag off ... whoever you want.. You probably won't bitch about your friends to your friends, family, or those you work with.. But if we all had to live on an MC reservation, the conversation would change, too :)

For my work, I rely on internet collaboration. And the last two (different) people I've worked with had "emergencies". The oboist had a medical emergency. The trombone player had a regular emergency.

I was just watching a Van Halen reunion concert (2015) on YouTube, and my "friend" backed out last second, and it was one of the last times they played.... People... ugh... And fuck my neighbor with the dog barking at 6:25am.

Careful, you're getting to close to a TheMan18 or Kj1oceanlust type rant.

If you start posting about the absurdity of existence and how you didn't get a job even though you were only 15 minutes late for the interview, we might have to stage an intervention.

Nothing wrong with his OP.

That reunion show Van Halen had, was this one with David Lee Roth?? If so, he should hang up singing and the same for Sammy Hagar who sounds pretty rough these days.. You know?? The one thing I notice older singers of these rock bands of yesterday doing?? They'll sing a little bit of the song, have a 10 minute jam session, come back and sing another bit of the song, more jam session etc and they do it because it's their way of getting around forgetting the lyrics

Maybe, I never saw either of them, but I wonder if it's too save their voice?

reply

Jon Bon Jovi would do that when Richie Sambora was in the band. He would take breaks and let Richie sing, Richie actually has the better voice anyway. No idea what he has been doing since Richie left.
