Ever See A Movie On A Special Day?

Ever see a movie an a day that sort of stands out in your memory?

The ones that I remember are...

Saw Independence Day on July 4th, 1996.

Saw End of Days on December 31st, 1999.

Saw a re-release of The Exorcist on Friday the 13th on a full moon. My better half had never seen it and she hates horror movies but she humoured me but she didn't think the movie was scary at all. Oh well.

I can't remember the exact date, but I think I saw Freejack on the date it was supposed to be set in 2009. I had to started to watch the movie before but put it away until that date rolled around.

Saw Jackie Brown for the first time 25 years to the day after it was first released. I had the DVD for years but never got around to watching it.

And what about you?

My closest theater shows the original Halloween on Halloween night. Since I'm single with no kids I always go out to eat and see the movie on Halloween night.

We saw one of Tim Allen's dozen Christmas movies on Christmas.

I saw Halloween (1978) on television on halloween night when I was 10 years old. I have an annual tradition of watching it every halloween night since.

Jealous of my patience?

Twenty five years was a bit of a wait but when you're an ageless time jumping artificial intelligence, it ain't all that.

Count me in for Independence Day as well. I remember I saw the first screening of it as a nearby theatre on July 3rd, 1996. I also saw "Paycheck" December 31st, 2003 in theatre.
