Big tip for tablet owners

Whether you have a cheap tablet or an expensive one, I'm sure you constantly have to charge it. For your own sanity, keep it on Battery Saver mode. It makes a world of difference.

I miss my docking station. I just put my tablet in it and it charged. My new one has to be plugged in.

Also, lithium ion batteries, on which all tablets operate, don't like to get charged up to 100%, nor left neglected till 0%. One must charge the battery in the 25 - 75 % range. Else, the device will stop holding a charge.

reply

Battery technology is far more behind than I realized.

reply

That's genuinely good advice. Wish I'd known it earlier...

I do that with my laptop since it's plugged in 95% of the time.

reply

the tablet didn't really work out like they thought it would.

reply

I use mine to watch all my tv shows and movies since I'm not home too often. It's more portable than my laptop.
