Why do humans use drones on Mars?
Because Mars is too far way and inhospitable to humans, of course!

shareScience and technology research, drones are the safest way plus a flight to Mars would take about nine months, who would volunteer to be away from their wife and kids for a year and a half or more round-trip?
The US has put five Rovers on Mars, the Chinese space agency has put one, they are truly amazing devices and if they break down nobody gets hurt
It’s a really interesting topic, one I don’t know nearly enough about but just look at our technical progress of the last century or so…we went from riding around in donkey carts to launching robotic Rovers on Mars
It’s astonishing really, and maybe someday they’ll even put a colony out there

Al Bundy.
Yeah, I agree with everything you said, although I still think crewed missions would be useful for examining the planet in better detail (and I guess to inspire humanity to think forward).
