Do you know the difference between a cross over and 4x4 SUV?

A 4x4 SUV is basically a truck chasis/motor with a passenger vehicle on top.

It's powerful. It can tow. It can go off road.

A crossover (erroneously called an SUV in Australia) is a regular car chasis/engine, made to look like a mini 4x4.

Some have all wheel drive, but this should be considered as an extra feature, not a category changer.

The definition will vary from country to country, but here's a link to the differences in the UK: -

This is a pic of one I used to own but I would never call it a 4x4 SUV. 😀

I’ve had many old classic trucks but that was the one I was going to keep forever.

What happened to it?

A Honda Accord hit me head on at night both of doing about 65 and I jumped them like the Fall Guy. 😆

We're you driving that truck when it crashed? If so you are lucky to be alive.

reply

Yep. I rolled over like 7 times and had to dig out from under it. Not a scratch on me but a seat belt burn on my chest.
