A question about condom use

I'm straight so I'm aiming this question at other straight people. Can anyone answer this question honestly? If your about to have sex with someone for the first time, do you actually use a condom? Because I've had my share of one nighters and flings over the years and I can count on one hand the women who wanted to use a condom. When I once suggested it, she looked at me as if to say, did you really have to go there? One other claimed to have a latex allergy, and others simply claim to be disease free. I'll admit on a few occasions, I more less just said "f*^k it" and went without as irresponsible as it is. I was just so damn horny and didn't want to spoil the mood by arguing about it. Now I've just accepted that it's just a sh1tty aspect of life to accept that nobody wants to use condoms. And if you want to have sex, you pretty much got to be willing to take the risk or just veto sex unless you can find a partner who is up for using a condom.
