Dubbing or closed captioning
Are you less likely to enjoy a highly recommended film with either dubbing or closed captioning ? There are some Chinese/other Asian movies I tried but the dubbing was intolerable!
sharedecent readers probably prefer subtitles, as do i.
slow readers probably find that very frustrating, i'm guessing, and would prefer dubbing.
the other utility of subtitles are for hard to discern audio or british english, for us yanks.
