What are some songs you didn't appreciate first that you now love?

In my younger years I didn't really like Sheena Easton's "For Your Eyes Only" because I thought it was too mellow and sleepy, as an adult I grew to appreciate that song a lot more and now find myself really liking it.

Nice. I'm gonna go with True by Spandau Ballet, since I used to think it was cheesy as hell when I heard it as a kid. But I love it now as an adult.

Spandau Ballet's "True" was another song I initially didn't have high impressions on but has grown onto me a lot in the recent years, oddly I used to think it was Tears For Fears who did that song when I first heard of it.

Most people I know thought Tears For Fears was the originator, I think, so you're not alone there.

Leaps and Bounds by Paul Kelly. Only the Aussies here will know it.

i don't know that song, or at least i don't remember it, but i've heard a few paul kelly albums. he had a reasonably sized following in north america for a spell. i used to have under the sun on vinyl, & remember liking it a reasonable amount, though it was maybe a bit too conventional rock for my tastes. the guy definitely knows his way around a melody.
