Anyone else find this child "suicide" story suspicious? (Dad has gofundme for movie)

So a happy 12 year old boy kills himself due to covid-19 isolation (so the story goes.)

But there's a twist, the Dad is now using this to make a movie and has a gofundme for $100,000.

He even has a tagline, "covid killed my son, but not how you think."

What's really disturbing is that he already has the 9/11 call and has used it for his promo.

Who does this?

I watch 48 hours and you'd be surprised how many murders get called a 'suicide' by police. It seems to be a rather common occurence.

Please let me know what you think of this guys trailer.

If I had a dad like that, my options would indeed be running away, or suicide!

And you can't run away during a pandemic.

reply

That's what you think. But the tagline clearly said "but not how you think."

reply

Who gives a rat's ass what that narcissistic creep thinks!

reply

But does this video raise concern about the father being the boys killer?

reply

NOT REALLY...JUST A SHITTY DAD.

reply

I’ve watched a lot of 48 hours and he seems to match those who do post death interviews and who later turn out to be the killer.

reply

Very odd indeed. Does seem like he is exploiting his son's death as a cash grab.

reply

He's got cash. A very mcmansion home.

reply

Even worse then.

reply

If he's planning a film so soon after his son's death then he's either a shit dad or a scammer.

reply

I just watched his original video talking about this.

He actually says why he killed himself.

The boy broke his monitor at the start of the year, throwing a controller at it, and they made him work for months to get a new one.

He did that.

But then he broke it again. So he went upstairs and hung himself.

He thinks he was ashamed or embarrassed.

So there's the explanation.

I don't know why he is now changing this into some covid-19 related thing. Covid didn't take his son.
