How locked down are you?

Around here police are issuing fines to those out on the street without a reason
(given warning first)
Valid reasons are:
doing a key job
getting exercise - without using a vehicle to travel to exercise.
going to shop for vital supplies , ie food etc

People seem to be driving to local nature spots to hang around , and are being villified by local social media for it . The was a case the other day of farmers in the countryside blocking the road and harrassing some dick in a range rover who was 100s of miles from home and seemed to be going camping

Same here in 'Sunny' Bournemouth.

I'm on day 12 of lockdown.
I only go out for a 2 mile run every morning (I might see 2 or 3 other people, whilst running and they're all far away from me).
The Missus goes out once a week for perishables.

I am staying in as much as possible and have been getting groceries online, but I did go to the store Monday morning, around 7:30am during the time reserved for seniors. I have been trying to take a drive in my car for about 30 minutes just to see what is going on. I don't get out so no interactions with other people.

Tomorrow is supposed to be a nice day and I am meeting 2 friends outside at one of our malls just to take a walk together - we will observe proper distancing. I need some exercise!

I've been working from home for nearly 2 weeks now, I really miss my coworkers but we keep in touch via text and Zoom

I don't pay any attention to the news so I'm not terribly anxious about any of this but the neighborhood men are all a bit antsy...no handshakes, etc...

The other day I bumped into Mr. Next Door while doing yard work and invited him into my garage for a beer
He took the beer but wouldn't sit in my garage
What did he think, I have a Gimp in there?!?

The guys at the Gas station and Liquor store put on gloves before accepting my transactions...I feel like Rodney Dangerfield, 'Boy I tell 'ya, I get No Respect!'

Anyway, I can't wait to get back to people and schmoozing with everyone!

Best wishes to all👍

I want to see my grandson but can't - personally I would take the risk, but if I get infected then I will pass it on to my husband, so can't do that.

The SIms 2 is giving me jetlag.

I’ve been working but staying 6’ from people at all times and my work day is outdoors. My family has been at home for about 2 weeks. It feels like about that same time since I’ve been to a store and I’m stocked up for months but would run out of stuff like milk and other things that aren’t quite a necessity.
