Would you volunteer for a test covid-19 vaccine?

I heard phase II testing is now starting.

NY State governer Cumo said that at the end of the day 40-80 percent of us will get the virus.

For all you super hero fans out there, now is the chance to obtain a truely superhuman power... immunity!

Yes

Really! That's good news. No, I wouldn't because I believe I already had it and am still recovering from the shortness of breath thing. It's improving, due to doing deep breathing and doing things like walking uphill according to my ability. Before this I might have.

reply

Well I guess I would want to be tested first just to make sure I haven't been exposed and already have antibodies in my system. That would be helpful for a lot of us.

Also does anyone know who long the anti-malarial drugs stay in a persons system? I took them 2 years ago before I went on vacation, but I imagine they don't last that long. One doctor who is in NY was on TV and said he had been taking them as a prophylactic and so far is OK.

I'd love to know if I already had it, since I believe I did, but since they don't know if that provides immunity, or if it does, for how long, it's all only academic. It'd be good as far as increasing the survival rate, but at this point confirming those who actively have it, and therefore could give it to others, is a higher priority.

Sorry, I don't know the answer to your question about the anti-malarial drugs.

reply

No. I don't trust the medical profession when they get that experimental gleam in their eye. Mad Scientist Syndrome I call it. Beware !

yes
