So what would you rather watch NASCAR or golf?
...both are about equally boring but at least with car racing there's a chance of occasional mayhem.

shareAgreed, NASCAR!
shareIām not a fan of either, but I would rather watch golf if I had to.
shareI used to put on the NASCAR late at night when I had a hangover with the sound down. It was quite therapeutic. I don't thinks it on here in the U.K anymore. I'll watch the Ryder Cup with the golf but that's about it.

shareGolf, but the coverage is not as good it used to be. I used to watch tournaments "for free" on the public broadcaster with no advertisements. The commentators actually knew what they were talking about and more importantly knew when to shut up. And if the golf was a little dull they could entertain the viewers with their anecdotes and banter. Those were the days...
I used to have derision for watching golf, but I've come to really enjoy it these days. I like the way they carve out the shots and use elevations to change the course of the ball. It seems quite elegant, with all the green grass and trees. Plus there are the odd disasters, driving into the trees or the crowd that golfers have to deal with. And most four day tournaments see a good bit of change in leadership which is fun.
But I don't like motorsports. Watching cars drive in circles while the announcers make it sound so thrilling really turns me off. I do check in once in a while to get a feeling for which driver is having success but I don't care to sit and watch a race for more than a moment or two.
