I honestly don’t like most of their music, with the exception of a few songs. I understand and respect their influence but I’m sick of their undying praise as the greatest rock band of all time, most of their music sucks to listen to now.

That doesn't mean Bruce Lee wasn't a legend. Back then, his movies were the best kungfu movie one can get, just like The Beatles were the best popular entertainment one can get.
Today, The Beatles is grossly overrated. If there were a new band in 2019 that sound and sing like them nobody would even care.
