I have this movie, just haven't seen it yet.. Maybe its because I heard it was similar to "Alice in Wonderland"?

it does bear some similarities, mainly in being a surreal, dreamlike, archetypal story with a young girl protagonist. but beyond that it is its own thing. its themes are decidedly darker and more adult, and the type of surrealism is much less whimsical and more abstractionist and jungian so to say. on the surface it’s less grounded than the others on your list, but i think it’s a really special film, painterly, metaphysical, sensual and nightmarish, with a lot of psychic resonance.

it’s actually one of my personal favorite films.

I like their fairytale movies like "Three Wishes for Cinderella".
