But seriously though I feel very sorry for Greta. She is beginning to find out that nothing meaningful is going to be done about global warming. In fact just the opposite will happen as pollution continues at an increasing rate. Whatever bad may happen is going to happen and no-one will stop it.
Sweden's greenhouse carbon emissions are still increasing despite having clean sources of energy such as hydroelectricity and nuclear. This is a very tough problem to solve and empty platitudes won't help. The Greens are also against nuclear power.
Sweden has about 50% of its energy from renewable sources but its carbon emissions are still increasing.

The elephant in the room that no-one has the guts to talk about is over-population. How can greenhouse gas emissions come down at all when the world population is going gangbusters? Whatever bad might happen from global warming will happen and all anyone can do at this point is reupholster the deck chairs on the Titanic.
