The Y in the Disney logo looks too much like a P...

I always used to wonder why it said Disnep. Now I know it's just a strangely drawn Y at the end.

Same here. And in Dutch "nep" means fake, so it was especially weird.

I wonder if my mum knows that. She has Dutch parents.

It never registered with me before, but now you mention it, all I can see is a ‘p’. The whole magic of Disnep, I mean Disney has been completely ruined.

I hated that as a kid too. It's way too stylized.

Now I just see it as a 'P' - thanks a lot! LOL

I believe that's Walt Disney's signature they used as their logo - he had terrible penmanship.
