Can someone explain stonekeeper in very easy to understand terms.

Thanks

Being brand new to the game, I just looked at a few completed games to get the drift. The first guess is going to be a random stab, because you have no info yet.

The imdb advanced search tool is also very helpful for this game.

Nice guy.

Stonekeeper is the username of a guy who posts here. If you mean the guessing game he came up with, it is pretty straightforward. You guess a movie and the person hosting the round gives a hint that connects the mystery movie with your guess. the first person to correctly identify the movie, gets a point and gets to host the next round.

Thanks yours made sense I was lost. So do I say a clue and say stonekeeper... I.e So like guy flying on a winged creature 80s movie?

You don't need to mention Stonekeeper during the game, he sometimes plays, but other times doesn't. He was the one who came up with the game so that is why it is named after him. You just post the name of a movie that meets the clues provided. Whoever is hosting that game, will add a new clue that corresponds to the movie you guessed.

We are trying to guess a mystery movie. The person hosting the game gives us a clue based on our guesses. The clue would be something both movies have in common. For example:

Mystery movie - The Searchers (1956)
Movie guessed - Vertigo (1958)

possible clues - both movies released in the 1950s or both movies rated 8 and over on imdb.

You have to used all the clues given to narrow down the mystery movie.

I'm still lost on this so I don't play. I haven't seen enough movies, I guess.
