Today I bought two box sets. I got Seijun Suzuki The Early Years Volume 1 blu ray (which includes The Boy Who Came Back, The Wind-of-Youth Group Cross the Mountain Pass, Teenage Yakuza, The Incorrigible, and Born Under Crossed Stars) and the Jackie Chan 6 movie collection on dvd, which includes 1911, Police Story Lockdown, Kung Fu Yoga, Railroad Tigers, Little Big Soldier, and Shaolin. What did you get recently?

shareBought Source Code and The Neon Demon on blu ray. I tried buying Terrifier but it was out of stock and after asking, I received word that it's most likely not appearing back in stock. DAMMIT. Terrifier is my fav pet horror of late.

shareTerrifier is a nasty 80s throwback with the best horror clown I've ever seen. I think it's quite perfect for fans of that kind of thing. The only thing that really signals it isn't an 80s film is the use of a mobile phone.
Even if you don't like it, it has a scene you'll never forget. It's a vicious little movie. I adore it!
I haven't bought a new movie in a decade I don't think. I just don't rewatch films the way I used to. What i'm into these days is building TV series collections. I'll watch those over and over again.
