Ever eat raw garlic?

I do regularly and I love it. It's very intense but it's really good for you. After you've done it a few times it's no biggie, although it does make your breath pretty bad, but just brush more! It helps in so many ways, I can't more highly recommend it. Skin the cloves, chew them, swallow, and definitely chase with water. Do it!

thi sounds bad for your lovelife.

reply

No complaints from my guy

My wife is Italian Canadian and she used to eat a lot of garlic as a kid but when she got to the dating age she suddenly stopped,

reply

It could make you excessively gassy I guess, but if you do it regularly, your body adjusts and it's not any worse than a normal gassy human.

reply

If you eat too much your breath will stink and you will sweat it out and have killer BO. I know this from hanging around a lot of older Italians over the years.

reply

I just drink a lot of water and I really don't smell terrible. I am blessed with a very pleasant inoffensive natural scent, and I bathe often. I notice other people smelling terrible regularly, and I have many friends who would have no problem calling me out if I smelled bad. The few times I've been rank it was from a lot of exercise and no washing, but that combo is a rarity for me. Some people just smell worse than others and I've never had an issue with it. I work in an office where we have a "no scent policy." This covers everything from weed scent to BO and you can be sent home due to smelling bad. I've never been sent home, but I've witnessed it and those people earned it.

reply

My piss does smell bad after the garlic though.

reply

asparagus does that as well. lol

reply

Yeah asparagus doesn't do that for me, although I've gone crazy on broccoli and it does.

When you cut out dairy it seems like the only thing you can eat is meat and vegetables, so I eat a lot of those. I can't be a vegetarian because meat just makes me feel good; I cut out too many things and can't give up meat.

reply

A few times, always gives me bad acid indigestion.

reply

Damn, I get that from other things but never my beloved garlic.

reply

Munch on fresh sprigs of parsley immediately afterwards; it will neutralize the odor.

reply

I have. I hate it.
