Good question. I was an avid reader as a kid so plenty.

The book that I probably read the most as a kid, as a teen and, now, as an adult that I still to this day can't stop loving is Wind in the Willows. It's just one of those books that I feel speaks to me at all times. But here are some more:

Most Roald Dahl books, especially The Twits
The Narnia series by C. S Lewis
Charlotte's Web by E. B White
Both the novel and picture book version of Charles Kingsley's The Water Babies
This fairy tale book called Tales from Grimm, Andersen and Perrault
Another fairy tale book called Gift Book of Hans Christian Andersen Fairy Tales, illustrated by Janet Grahame Johnstone and Anne Grahame Johnstone (I was a huge fan of these illustrators, who also worked on The Water Babies picture book)
Frances Hodgson Burnett's A Little Princess and The Secret Garden (still love both the books and the movies)
Enid Blyton's Faraway Tree series and Wishing Chair series
Came Back to Show You I Could Fly by Robin Klein
Wild Magic by Tamora Pierce
The Rowan of Rin series by Emily Rodda
The Keeper of the Isis Light by Monica Hughes
Lost Magic by Berthe Amoss
I loved R. L Stine books, especially the Fear Street ones
Prom Dress by Lael Littke
The Talisman by Stephen King (I was a huge fan of most of King's books) and Peter Straub
Watchers by Dean Koontz

Yep, I can remember all these pretty damn fondly. I almost feel bad for leaving any out.
