It's not as great as it should be. The people you ignore can still read and reply to all your posts and you will still get a notification when they do reply. So it's only 50% great lol. Needs to be a full block where you can't see them and they can't see you.

I've not gotten any notifications from those I ignored...and I know darned well they aren't going to let me have the last word. But...I guess I did on my end because I got nothing back from them.

I haven't either. Once put on my ignore list, that's the last I've heard from them.

Jim needs to make it a block button. Ignore doesn't quite do the job.

Have you emailed him about it? I emailed him about some offensive posts and they were removed the next day. He's good like that.

Finally came across the first member that I wish to block. But I have a question that hopefully someone will answer?

One member mentioned that they tried blocking someone, and it blocked everyone in that thread. Did anyone else have that problem?

IMDB ignore hid topics by ignored and replies to that topic completely. Same here. It's not a problem, it's a feature.

When ignored replied to a topic IMDB showed just "ignored user" but all the other replies were visible. Here replies to ignored are hidden as well.

Only the one user is added to the ignore list but any replies to that user are then hidden also.
