the twitter generation should watch Warren Beatty career

My favorites are the first two films Beatty starred in Splendor In The Grass 1961 with Natalie Wood and The Roman Spring of Mrs. Jones with Vivian Leigh, 1961.

I would say Warren Beatty's finest films are Shampoo, McCabe & Mrs. Miller, Bonnie & Clyde, and Lilith. Maybe Bugsy, to get a look at what he was like when older (and to see his chemistry with the woman he finally married after decades of notorious bachelorhood!)

To me, he never rally branched out into being a significant, individual star as he matured.

This is the first time I have ever seen anyone recommend Ishtar!
for a long time it was seen as the biggest bomb ever made.

I loved Reds though. Fantastic film.
