How did you find out about moviechat?

IMDB I Need To Know board. This site could really do with advertising though because lots of users at imdb will probably not know of this site yet.

Saw a post mentioning it on IMDb and came over to check it out. Very nice.

Read a post on the IMBD message boards.

I saw a link posted on IMDb board for Salem's Lot. As soon as I saw it, I came over and signed up.

Saw a post on The Shining forum.

I read about it on IMDB. I don't post often on the boards, I just read the posts. I like reading what people think about movies or tv shows. I guess I'm a lurker too.

Someone recommended it on the IMDB facebook page, so I'm giving it a try. Still don't know how many specialized boards there are here, but I'm still trying to get a sense of all the similar movie-oriented boards out there, to figure out the best ones to stick to using.

I'm sure I'll figure out the better such boards, soon. Wish IMDB wouldn't shoot themselves in the foot by removing the boards as of Monday, and come to their senses to keep their boards going. I greatly fear they won't, sadly to say. That's okay, I'll just use Rotten Tomatoes(for reviews) and Wikipedia(for director/actor/actress history) a lot more, and continue to try out other movie-oriented message board sites to figure out the better such boards out there.
