Benny Hill considered funnier than Monty Python by two TV stations--READ!!!

The stations were WOR and WLVI. Agreed! Hill came from a showbiz family and was way better suited to comedy and show biz in general than the rather non-showbiz family Pythons.

I love britcoms but could never get into Monty Python.

I think I prefer "Benny Hill" as well.

Benny Hill WAS funnier.

Monty Python had it's moments and the movies were pretty good too.

Python had more memorable sketches. Benny Hill was fairly one note at least from what I've seen.
