I pointed this type of behavior out a few days ago. I know supervisors who refuse to leave during emergencies including earthquakes, fires, bomb threats, etc.
I never ask permission. I get my things and leave the building. Period.
Even now with covid, management doesn't really care and the infection rate is high. I protect myself instead of relying on anyone.
Those Fascist murderers are denying they forced anyone to stay. Typical behavior so I'm not surprised.
