Ratings of this trial are very low from what I'm hearing.
It was the 3rd news story on my local news last night. The world news (ABC) this evening didn't air updates on the trial till 5 minutes or so into the broadcast. You'd think it would be first on any news broadcast.
Very low? It was reported that 11 million viewers tuned in to watch yesterday. Thatβs not low.

I think more may tune in next week when the defense team gets their turn.
Day 3--
ABC shut off the trial 2 hours after it started. They aired a rerun of General Hospital.
CBS followed shortly after that.
NBC shut it off at 3pm central time to air Ellen.
When Trump's defense team starts they'll probably resume and talk over all of it. Like they do with GOP conventions when a good speaker gets going.

ABC & NBC turned off the boring snooze fest at 3pm central. CBS followed shortly after.
Tonight's 10pm news didn't even bother to talk about the impeachment until after their first break, 16 minutes into the broadcast, and barely spent 30 seconds on it. Even the Harvey Weinstein trial was mentioned before this joke of an impeachment. π
So the republicans agree to do their side over the weekend? Damn thatβa stupid. Thatβs where news goes to die. Bozos. Surprised they didnβt agree to do Trumps defense during the super bowl.
