I agree snl isnt funny , but shane gillis is and its pretty interesting to see him host a show he got wrongly fired from.

I watched snl last night for the first time in years. And i was missing will ferrell and others of his caliber a lot. I think the host Shane would have fit in more with that type of comedy as well. I love ferrall, sandler, all those over the top guys
I thought it was a pretty sad cold open. Shoulda opened with the star. I wish Lorne had done some kind of bickering with Shane about how awkward the situation they had been in with the firing. Shane was great all things considered, but the program sucks and under utilized his presence.

I was already happy to see shane , but snl underutilized the whole situation. Lorne should have had an opening with shane. Shane seems to have to cater to snl as oppose to the opposite . His stand up was probably the most risk snl will has taken in the last 8 years, and moving forward. Wonder if the ratings were huge tho. From all the dawgs. Cable sucks tho still

They should have gone more grimy and adult with the tone. Show of those female assets so to speak, specifically that sweeny gal. Like a grindhouse style . Do something un expected hollywood.. that being said i havent seen it, but i might see it for free , for the g ratedness of it, something to throw on in the back round , while cooking dinner for the fam.
