I agree, I viewed this as more of a horror film rather than a comedy.
No Columbine were mass killers Billy and Stu were serial killers. They have tried blaming videogames and music on Columbine.

Yes this issue with the movie has been discussed before. It was a poorly written part to get the movie going and to have a reason for The Matrix.
Yes and The Tom Green Show was on MTV before Jackass and had similar skits/stunts. Tom Green really is one of the first to create humor like this.

His mom was a prostitute and locked him in the closet when he was young.
He did show remorse unlike most serial killers who blame other things. He was lonely and actually did not like killing it was just a means to an end.
Yes in Predator 2 he is briefly mentioned by Gary Busey, I think they said he was paranoid and kept talking about an alien that hunted him and his team.

Yes, I think they should make one more theatrical movie an actual sequel to Bigger Longer and Uncut to go out with a bang.
