It's definitely getting that Endgame bump considering it's already gotten 59 million on its YT trailer and 1.7m likes in 3 weeks. People are hungry to find about the MCU's future in Far From Home. It's going to pretty brutal at the box office sandwiched between Toy Story 4 and The Lion King but the MCU is the one of the strongest brands at the moment. I'm personally thinking it just makes over $1.2 billion worldwide but I'd be happy that Spider-Man character finally makes anything over a billion dollars for the first time which is a long time coming. Amazing result for the John Wick franchise. It's only going to increase once again for the sequel which I couldn't be happier for a guy like Keanu Reeves. Yeah, it's unfortunately a big disappoint for them considering how good the movie was. There was so much buzz especially with the it barely scrapped $360 million. With a $100 million budget and $100M spent in advertising, it needed to make at $400 million so I don't think it's going to reach that at all :( Yup, in the end it wasn't that close. Captain Marvel certainly proved how popular she was with legs for days. I loved all the backtracking after the 'boycotts' failed. Especially the HUGE '2nd' weekend drop which they predicted and never happened. 'Just wait until the sequel comes out and you'll see' is the one they'll cling to for the next few years LOL I think that would've definitely fit in way better considering the family element also! Scorching HOT at the box office! Yup that's correct! It actually went up $7M in actuals which is crazy high adjustments. It's incredible so far! Keyword being 'rival'. Not beat or lose but be in the general ball park, especially if it gets close to the $2.5-3 billion range. Universal only has Secret Life of Pets, Hobbs & Shaws and 2 Blumhouse pictures left, so it's not particular strong lineup at all compared to Endgame itself. I expect Endgame vs Detective Pikachu, Godzilla, The Joker and It Pt.2 to be pretty close but we won't know until later in the year. It sounds difficult but I think they'll build up the next avengers a lot slower. There's just so much content for them to mine from with all the Fox properties returned in X-men, Fantastic Four, Deadpool and the various countless villains associated. That would've been a really cool idea! I do hope we get to see some more of the Nova Corps in the future. I think so. Unfortunately it only made $180 million on a $100 million budget which is pretty much flop territory. They flooded the market with too many poor Lego adaptions. Wow. Utterly insane results! Goo Disney!! I stand corrected! Edited the title. Disney are fortunate to have 2 of the biggest franchises under their belt! Yup its incredible. The lowest ever multiplier for an A+ cinemascore is - 'Tyler Perry's Why Did I get Married' at 2.59 - 'Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets' at 2.96 Everything else is above 3x. Remember that for later on.
