Interesting idea, considering that the plot we know is that Cipher and Dante (Momoa) will be teaming up against Dom and his team, who are enlisting old allies (Deckard, Jakob, Little Nobody, Leysa, Queenie, etc) and new allies (Larson, Ritchson, Melchior) to help them in their fight. So a rescue mission could also be a big part of it
McKay is not a bad choice, he could pull it off but my other choices are Austin Butler, Timothee Chalamet (despite the advice he got from DiCaprio) and Dylan O'Brien (could see him as Nightwing as well)

I know they weren't as bad, but Linda was arrogant and used her dad's money to jump start her business, but she wasn't fully aware of Richard's affair, Walt was spoiled, cashing in on his father's success, the truth is if you want to work in your family's business, you should do other job/career opportunities on the outside to gain some experience, can't be living off the family money forever. Ransome was a dick, maybe it's because of his parents' arrogance and conservatism. The one that came across decent was Meg, and I think Martha used Harlan inheritance to help Meg and Joni with their financial situations. Walt might have started his own publishing business when he would pull himself together.

Well there is a big cast that includes Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, John Cena, Jason Momoa, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Sung Kang, Nathalie Emmanuel, Brie Larson, Jordana Brewster, Alan Ritchson, Charlize Theron, Jason Statham, Helen Mirren and Daniela Melchoir. Also Justin Lin backed out as director and was replaced in a week during filming and apparently some of the script was written during filming that led to Lin's departure. Also this is meant to mean the first part of a final chapter.
I do like Shrek The Third, but it's inferior to the first two, but better than the fourth which I thought was a cash grab, and this one, the third fitted best as a finale which pretty much ended Shrek and Fiona's arcs
Lewis Collins of the British TV series "The Professionals" and had worked with the same producer on the film "Who Dares Wins" was originally going to play his role and I think he would have been a much better fit. But instead he did a low-tier film of a similar title "Codename: Wild Geese".

They tried to get Paul Rudd, who played the character in the sixth film, but he was busy with Ghostbusters, wouldn't have minded him returning to the role. Hall was an interesting choice at first but yes cringy, and just didn't do it for me
