What about Josh Hartnett, how did he fare
John Travolta turned it down but later regretted it, but Hanks knocked it out of the park. But him playing the teenage Gump was strange, they could have gotten someone who closely resembles Hanks, say Tom Everett Scott or even Hanks' son Colin for the part

Joel Schumacher had stated that he was told not to hire Val Kilmer from other directors, it's also worth mentioning that Keanu Reeves, Kurt Russell, Johnny Depp and William Baldwin were considered for the role before Kilmer was cast. Billy Baldwin had worked with Schumacher on "Flatliners" so that working relationship was established, he was also considered by Schumacher to replace Kilmer in a sequel, but I'd say he would have found it easy to work with either Depp or Reeves, since it's been well known that those two have came around as the nicest guys in Hollywood.
Val Kilmer's marriage to Joanne Whalley ended during filming, with the divorce being finalized a year after this film came out. Whether or not the stress of Kilmer's failing marriage was a factor in his attitude on set, and a factor in his strained working relationship with Joel Schumacher, is unknown.

My picks would have been Sam Raimi, Stephan Hopkins, Joe Johnston or Joe Dante.
I'd say Michael Keaton would stay since each of these guys would have had a better direction than Schumacher had. If Raimi directed then he can have Bruce Campbell in a role. Still if Keaton didn't return then potential replacements could still include Keanu Reeves, Alec Baldwin, Kurt Russell, William Baldwin, etc
Apparently his relation with his wife Joanne Whalley was on the rocks so this might of been the reason of his behavior on set
Could have worked, he would've had the right height. Other names that would have made good Batman back then were Alec Baldwin, and Ray Liotta (he could have also made a better Two Face than TLJ).
Shang Chi, Spider-Man: NWH and Black Panther: WF were the only Marvel films from Phase 4 that I like, haven’t seen Quantumania yet, no rush but hopefully GotG Vol 3 is a lot better since it’s the only Phase 5 film to look forward to. But yeah MCU has gone to the dogs
I’m guessing they’ll have another trailer either late march or early /mid April since they’ll be closer to the release (May 19th) by then

-Edward Nygma/The Riddler: Robin Williams
-Victor Fries/Mr. Freeze: Patrick Stewart
-Harley Quinn: either Madonna or Helena Bonham Carter
-Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow: either Jeff Goldblum or Johnny Depp could do. Brad Dourif was rumoured to have been Burton’s choice for the role
-Ra’s Al Ghul: Christopher Lee
-Jervis Tech/Mad Hatter: Either Martin Short or Mike Myers
-Poison Ivy: Geena Davis
-Bane: Kevin Nash
-Thomas Elliot/Hush: Liam Neeson
-Arnold Wesker/The Ventriloquist: John Lithgow
-Scraface: Joe Pesci
Other characters
-Dick Grayson/Robin: Burton had intended on Marlon Wayans in the role, but personally I didn’t mind Chris O’Donnell in the role. Other names I could suggest who were also considered, Mark Wahlberg, Scott Speedman, Ethan Hawke (was actually considered to replace Keaton as Batman, but could have been a better fit for Grayson), Leonardo DiCaprio, Ricky Addison Reed (who was cast in the role in Batman ‘89, but was cut) or Mike Vitar, who could grow into the role.
-Barbara Gordon/Batgirl: the only suggestion I have is Winona Ryder
-Lucius Fox: for older I would go with Louis Gossett Jr, James Earl Jones or John Amos. For younger maybe Giancarlo Esposito and make the character a childhood friend of Wayne’s who helps him with supplying the equipment, something that was never touched upon in the movies.
Alan Ritchson’s character Aimes could be taking Hobbs’ spot since he’s meant to be taking over Mr. Nobody’s agency

Hoult is not in Mission Impossible, we'll he was meant to but had to drop out due to scheduling clashes

Wel'll probably get one mid-2023, but I feel like they;'ve been keeping the movie in the dark since they finished filming, maybe, they know it isn't very good
