Yes I noticed this too. It's almost as if Society had seen Alive and had decided not to waste the audience' time showing the same stuff. Maybe it was deliberate showing things from a different angle.

I totally agree. Don't get me wrong I love Alive, always have always will but THIS is the film we should've got 30 years ago.
There was actually one other film made in 1976 called Survive.

It was a good fight though wasn't it, possibly the best bit of the film for me. The brute just kept coming and kept coming. It was bru-tal!

I agree about Micro, it would make a superb film if done right. It's an amazing book (well recommended) with some truly fantastic action sequences which would translate well to film. Maybe Steven Spielberg's the guy for the job? He could do with a hit.

I do. He was settled down in a relationship, he had a kid but he obviously wasn't getting any! Glenn Close came along and she presented something different, something exciting. He leapt at it.
