NGL I kept watching because of her. low-key hypnotized yea well. get in line lol They probably have a reason for it. I only wonder what they will concoct up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OsXHKhuwX-M So... About The Ending Of The Fallout TV Show __ Mortyyyy __ Premiered Apr 11, 2024 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXJ_08tRxJ8 RELAX FALLOUT FANS, NEW VEGAS IS STILL CANON - Fallout TV Show Lore __ Over-Lored __ Apr 11, 2024 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5_2hZn80GTk The Fallout TV Show IS Canon __ Donald Binks __ Apr 12, 2024 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K93q4fQsLPg The biggest lore mistake in the Fallout show __ Oxhorn __ Apr 13, 2024 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3rFBFwZb45E The Fallout Show Didn't Retcon New Vegas __ TKs-Mantis __ Apr 13, 2024 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gU9uHzpkuFU Fallout Show DIDN’T RUIN THE LORE ! __ FaNGs __ Apr 14, 2024 well that's because most these projects are actually not helmed by one person only. you can have many key people but they do their work out of passion in the background then either get fired/cut or leave for better pastures due to ambitions. Spielberg was known to have his own little crew and took them to whatever project he was making. technically that's incorrect and this ties in to how Fallout 1/2 handled difficulty scaling. you can, if you want, meet super mutants right away, but you will get ganked. they should've given us some horror one second sequence of what's about to come. well anyway >The article complains that there is less of that and yet it no. watch the video. He complains that there are 50's tropes still in 22nd century, he even contrasts this to New Vegas. like there had been no evolution. So they took the retrofuturism literally and they skipped the aftermath lore-wise, New Vegas didn't. 11:00 Rewatching the video, bethesda should've done Judge Dredd. The author complains there was no imagination at work, just copypasta. well, who knew: "Meanwhile, Vault-Tec had been scheming with other corporations such as RobCo and Big MT to finance their Vaults and firmly establish a monopoly. To this end, they offered to initiate a nuclear blast to kick off the Great War so as to ensure their investment would pay off, and eventually their experiments and individuals within the vaults would be able to take control of the surface.[9] However, it is left unclear whether they ultimately went through with this plan. " https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Great_War check what the source for annotation [9] is. In either case, there was a conflict with a foreign territory, but I don't feel like rewatching the show. Maybe someone will do a video with any retcons, if there are any at all. Let's see what season 2 will bring. In hindsight maybe they are low-key targeting Blackrock and the money they manage, like pension funds and mortgage securities while buying up houses left and right and leaving them empty. >The only major way in which the show fucks up the lore from the non-Bethesda games is the nuking of Shady you've got to be shitting me. the only way? why don't we start with why the nukes were dropped in the first place. the entire premise of the show retconns any and everything in the universe. as the article says, F1 was written by 90's folks imagining what 50's would imagine 2050 would be and its following dystopia of 22nd century. Bethesda doesn't know how to make games (anymore). Seems like making games is a young man's game. Watch all the fandom-pedia Stasis re-write all the articles to fit the new narrative and everyone like you gobbling it up. They wanted their cake and it eat too. You either have a vision or you don't. They should've honored the source material and the time this franchise was created in by putting up disclaimers or not touch it at all. Additionally this could've been another great reminder why nuking shouldn't be the solution to current-day problems. you know, like actual science fiction. explore potentially uncomfortable topics. it's slop and it seems I was right https://moviechat.org/tt12637874/Fallout/6607cb696d529f1ab8c378d0/everyone-ready-for-some-woke-slop well they retconned already the original setup. I have no idea why they would walk it back in season 2 now. Especially since they want to sell it in that territory too and I don't know how sensitive they are being the enemy. So given that and there are more things, it really is just Fallout in name. OP here. so surprisingly I watched the entire thing. I don't think this would've worked with a male lead. You had two or three somewhat dimwits male in that show. Her raider future husband, all looks no brains (potential lead for a male dweller); her brother, brain but.. well you know; and her brother's bestie, the tall dummy. In either case, the last scene with the ghoul and Goosy made me realize this needed to be a woman otherwise this would've had a different tone. Well, the closest to it would probably be Luke Skywalker. > Or she got a firework blast to the face when she was in the water. yea no, this I got. It was obvious, happened when she fell into the water. I realized after writing my OP, but I didn't want to edit it to see what people will say. That's the whole reason her mother was looking for the Aranas, her genetic defect: myasthenia gravis I think what are you guys smoking? sounds literally the same. @samoanjoes if anything they probably ADR'ed it to make it better. it's horrible. akin to antonio banderas' latest: cult killer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8MaSphmfso not thinking anything about you but wow. so you never wondered how other ppl had those black, hover-able lines? I don't frequent MC often, I dont talk much about my media, so I have no idea how widespread the spoiler tag useage is but with 2k messages you must've seen it. either way :) <3 I'll be surprised if you didn't know it after 2k messages but there are tags for it :) https://moviechat.org/formatting yea, it was a totally different time. I really miss it. I wish I could go back like Cole and just experience it once again as an observer. holy sh. Danger 5 looks trippy af. For being made in 2011-2015 they really pulled off that 70s/80s feel. Might give it a watch. I'm more into grounded 70s/80s/90s (think Serpico) not sci-fi of those decades, but who knows, Danger 5 looks interesting. I'm not familiar with australian humor, but if it won't turn me off I might finish Danger 5. > This has that smug millennial feel to it? not sure if you're asking or if it's a statement. if by "this" you mean Wanda, then yes, the smugness is real. It might be a nice introduction to the decades following the 50s for kids aged 6-15 now, but that's about it. I assumed more like-minded hang out in moviechat but they seem to be located at tvmaze and metacritic. I really had more hopes for Disney/Marvel post Iron Man era. Given all the drama Disney surrounds itself these days, it's really hard to give them leeway when they put out content like Wandavision. that's the thing you worry about? probably the most plausible thing in this movie, I very much so like. Just rewatched it after so many years/lustrums. It's a well-worrying and common thing in animal agriculture. That's why the Wuhan wet-market wasn't as implausible at first cause these wet-markets supposedly sell any meat they find in the bush. In the west, when you hunt game, you must send meat probes to a lab before being allowed to process/consume it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zoonosis "A zoonosis (plural zoonoses, or zoonotic diseases) is an infectious disease caused by a pathogen (an infectious agent, such as a bacterium, virus, parasite or prion) that has jumped from an animal (usually a vertebrate) to a human.[1][2][3] Typically, the first infected human transmits the infectious agent to at least one other human, who, in turn, infects others." Also one of the main arguments vegans use to wean off people off a meat diet. It's a shame they "ruined" the movie with the premise. Then again this was the 90s, shit like that didn't matter. God I miss that decade. I stand corrected, watched till ep6 ofc. I obviously knew ep1 and 2 wasn't going to be the show's format. I waited till ep4, but don't think I'll continue. At least there's comfort in knowing this is just a mini-series, therefor at least the production quality should remain high.
