It's getting to be a trend. The show won't be any good without Crawford. You can take that to the bank. I had to double check to see if I'd missed an episode. I think you may be right. And you saw it way before most people. She does seem like a good person, and so does Ivanka. It's really sad to see them treated so horribly by the media and the unhinged twitter hordes. The early part of the season was pretty good imo. But it's gotten tediously boring since they reached Seattle. It's taking too long to find out. So far it's been slow and boring since they reached the Seattle settlement. Where are the people disappearing to? Is it a Soylent Green scenario? Glad to hear I didn't miss much. I didn't get past episode 2 I'm sure I'll still watch. But I'm going WTF!?? right now. They really lost me with the flashbacks and the Japanese with subtitles stuff. I mean, I think I'm following what's going on, but am I really?? Who the heck knows? lol lol, yeah... Lucky Me  The reason was money and ownership. Not the quality of the show, which was excellent. It was not a "sci-fi" production and was more costly for them to produce and they wouldn't own the show outright like they do the (mostly) lame shows they produce in house. This question points out one of the biggest problems with Hollywood today. Forced, contrived "diversity". It ruins movies like nothing else. I was gonna say. Our favorite "Our Gang" characters would have to be 95-100+ by now? No old movies need a "pc makeover" None, zero, nada, zilch "pc makeovers" go over like a lead baloon. This movie wasn't even related to "the mummy" franchise. That "franchise" was already wrecked. They're totally different and unrelated movies, but I would put The Mummy (2017) up there with The Mummy (1999). The Mummy 2 was OK and The Mummy 3 sucked balls, effectively killing that franchise. I thought it was awesome. It's really too bad it's done. It's cancellation had more to do with cost and independent ownership than the quality of the show itself. Agreed, it's not particularly well done here. In fact, with the weak points of the storyline it starts to make things all that more confused. I do like some of the character development so far though, especially John Dorie. The character development has been very good, and the presence of Garret Dillahunt has ticked it up a notch. But frankly a lot of it just doesn't make much sense? To the point of being laughable even. The 2017 bluray is in fact the original 100 minute version of this classic. How they could have ever deemed it necessary to cut a full thirteen minutes of this masterpiece is beyond me.
