Oh no, my writing in my 4th language is not perfect. How many languages do you speak? And how perfect are you in the ones not your mother tongue? Learn first another language, then come back judging.
My point remains and never got deviated how flemish is not a dialect.
And the comparising with English stands like a rock.
It's the same langue spoken in both countries, Mr language expert.
West Vlaams, Brabants, Antwerps, Utrechts, Amsterdams these are all dialects of Dutch. Flamish is a culture of a region. Not a dialect.
But i know in your head you'll know it all better with your extended real life international language experience.

First of all the leading girl is anything but a Mary Sue, she is a naive child in a harsh world incompetent de deal with all it's hardness and gets in trouble all the time because of it and needed to be saved and resqued all the time.
That ain't no Mary sue.
The black dude is also anything but a hero and probably one of the dumbest TV characters in history. There is truly little glorious about him.
And yeah mixed race... They exist, if that wounds you you must live a very unhappy life.

what you don't seem to comprehend is that dutch and English are the exact same situation, yet,
you regard the dutch spoken in Flanders as a dialect and the us English not, while the circumstances are one and the same.
and both nations having their own regional dialects both in the English as the dutch language.
you are for 100% not a dutch speaker i can tell, why i find it even more remarkable you apparently know it all better.

Flemish is not truly a "dialect" of dutch, Flemish is officially not even a language but a culture.
Flemish people officially also speak dutch. it just have different accents and certain words and expressions are totally different but its not a dialect deviation, it is dutch.
same like British English and American English .same but some cultural differences
Im a Flemish, so im well aware of the linguistic situation of my surroundings lol.
in the series a scene starts mentioning clearly they are in Flanders, and start to follow a downed British airman.
he bumps on a young peasant girl. she starts to speak in french to him, but crazier is later she addresses her father as well in french.
so clearly they're not a Flemish family.
now one episode further, still the majority of the Flemish speak french lol. in that time if they would be noblity or high elite it would make sense, but peasants and common people not a chance in the universe.
around that time Flemish nationalism was trough the roof
i didn't see strong diverse women piloting the airplanes

the best parts of this movie are i think worthy of a solid 8 to even 9.
but unfortunately this movie contains also much worse parts that drags that score down drastically
I did watch it, but the first movie is like almost a decade ago?
i just watched them once, the equalizer movies for me a re good fun, but not movies that blow my mind and wanted me to watch 10 times over.
from the first movie the only thing i remembered was the villain was quite bad ass and capable, the relationship with the girl and the people he cared for and the bad ass timer sequences.
from the second movie i remember less as i thought it was a lesser story, but i still had good fun.
thx for the heads up, but i did not enjoyed this one as much as the others. the sub plot was distracting and the villains pure shit
just saw it last night, i went pretty blind into this movie, just knowing who's starring. but so pretty unbiased and 0 expectation.
15 min in i found it alarming already how often i didn't even giggle with the poor attempts of humor. anf boy was i right, this movie was very limited in the fun compartment, i had perhaps 3 laughs. and boy story wise, this has to be the most cringe writing i have digested in a while. ever single god awful cliche's, tropes and predictability passes around so badly it pissed me almost off.
absolutely bored from start to finish even her nudity could not save this for me.
glad there si an audience for it, and you liked it, but this movie was definitely not for me
yeah this movie was not even half as great then the reviews said, i found it quite shocking.
this is just milking dry out a franchise repeating over and over what has already been done but using a different brush to paint
