i can easily name 40 better to even much better movies then what's on this list...easily.
again, marketing draws people to the theatres in modern days, not quality.
if you believe these top 10 movies are the best movies you have ever seen, well good for you, but i pity your taste

wild theories here, i think it has more to do with just well its the 7th movie of a franchise,its not that original anymore while it has to compete with 2 heavyweights at the box office. i dont think there is anything wrong with tom's star power. but top gun was in spite being za sequel quite a unique movie, very well done, at decades after the original, MI is just another one down the line
the 3rd is to my likings head and shoulder the best ones, the more dark and gritty appeals to me, most of the MI's they made to fluff where nothing really feels at stake to my opinion, keeping things light, cruise being nothing less then a superhero ( a one dimensional one.the previous one i also though ok. but this new one along with all the others are just generic very forgettable movies with sure nice stunts but mediocre stories, copy pasted over and over.
box offices proving jack shit. the bible is the best sold book in the world, doesn't make it the best book. same goes for movies. high box offices are telling much more about the marketing then the quality of a movie.
that being said, i thought this movie was just meh. its just more of what you have already have seen a million of times over and over.
i'm happy that lately all these milked dried out copies are starting to bunk badly. as long people go watch them and make money these studio's will keep on feeding them. time they realize people appreciate original stories and sometimes you have to take a bit of risk in stead of overly safe with these dead franchises.
i thought i was going to see something different or renewing with all this praise, but its just exactly like the very few last movies but painted with different brushes.

hence i mentioned like siblings. you speak the same language but sometimes on a different frequency. and there is a huge difference in that between Dutch and German, even though they are reltaed
indeed a mistake as well, people have been sharp noticing it.
but its a mistake i can easier understand, production just looking for American flags,not thinking through there have been some changes since '45
but having a language entirely wrong of a nation, i mean common. you don't need high intellectual people in your crew to know that german and dutch are not the same languages,spoken in different countries :)

lol as there is nothing in between crappy soap opera and real docudrama.
i came late into this party, went in blind as a passionate history lover, but this show is absolutely garbage, and no i did not expected a docu or docudrama. i hoped for a good show.
the majority of this show has simply very little to do what draws arguably most history lovers to this show, the actual manhattan project. this is family and relationship drama galore and great for people like yourself loving such. but i can assure you thats not why many people where drawn to this show. it started promising but by episode 9 i couldnt bare it any longer. glad to see i was not the only one thinking like this when i checked out comments and fora.

but well, know not everybody on this site is a native English speaker.for me its just one out of 5 languages i speak, so sure , things wont always be perfect.

theatres are getting a % cut from ticketsales, so why would a studio donate their own money to them?
still it totally didnt make any sense at all. as she came willingly(!) on the invitation(!) of the other one, its not that one ambushed the other or something.
