0 , zero, none, nil, not even once, never. Care to update your score on Assassins Creed? =P Same here, not perfect by a long shot but enjoyable indeed, I would loved it more with an R rating and longer cut but if it really connects with other Marvel movies this could lead to interesting stories in the future. Tom Hardy is an amazing actor and did what he could on this movie, good performance. There is nothing to interpret, the only thing I saw was two guys that shared a really f*cked up past with massive traumas that found some coupe with their friendship, there is not a single insinuation on their acting, handling or communication that would indicate an active homosexual behavior, not any more than any other group of guys sharing similar experiences or sharing new activities. It would be just as crazy as to say that all the NFL, NBA and soccer teams around the world are blatant homosexuals because they are only men (or women where it applies) and share most of their time together, even touching each other, rubbing their strong and sweaty bodies for hours. Again, just because it does not fit the mold it does not mean that it is a homosexual relationship. Why every close relation between two person from the same sex has always to be homosexual?, ask around some veterans and you will find a few close relations like those guys in real life without a homosexual tone or insinuation, don't project prejudices onto others just because it does not fit the mold every time. Had them spent a little time to explain WHY Thanos reached that conclusion it would have made it a little more debatable, as it is explained in the movie it is a really stupid plan, there is no need to wipe half of the universe, with so much power you could reeducate them, advance them without the killing, just like on the real world earth, life and the universe continues with or without intelligent life forms (anything big enough to eat universe energy). https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/parody Uprising left me such bad aftertaste that the very next day I purchased the first movie on iTunes just to compare them (and because it was cheaper most likely due to the release of the new one), I had not seed the first movie since its release on 2013, watching it again was such a treat, it is amazing the difference, all the Jaegers feel so heavy and real in the first one, the drama feels a little closer to reality (for a cartoon kind of story of course) with real deaths left and right, the stakes were high and everyone knew it, there was real sacrifice. I do get your idea of a disconnected world but I think the Oasis is pure entertainment, I don't think that would mirror to our real world complete Internet, since our Internet has serious uses like banking, education, health, communications, etc., all outside a pure entertainment use. Now, if you could target only entertainment content in our Internet and only that didn't work certain days a week, that would be something worth trying maybe but we live in an extremely complex world where not everyone has the same weekdays and not everyone needs entertainment at the same time than others. Not detecting sarcasm so here we go, yes, they love terrible movies, just like America also has their share of love for terrible movies, every country love a few terrible movies from time to time, China is in a special place now since they come from decades of government bans (way worse than the current ones) where most american movies were banned, they are consuming almost anything from the big franchises, not going to last forever thou, that is why movie studios are cashing that big fat check while it lasts.
