So John and the wife adopt Jamie a couple years after the 1st born and a couple years before Beth, Beth as the 1st born female would have an edge over 2nd son, and Kaycee was the baby so would have been equal to the 1st born
As 2nd son the deck was stacked against Jaime a little anyway -
But John could see something and applied to Harvard for the kid so he wasn't dumb but just wanted to be a cowboy but went on to become an excellant lawyer AND did a lot of good for the Ranch untill 1st son died, and Beth came back
SHE started doing just that when she started looking into the BEEF business in place of the Cattle Business

I always thought Seven Samurai was over rated
As I recall it didn't do very well, BUT most of Sergio films ever did
Well I was a bottle and a 1/2 drinker, Scotch, Only drank after work 5-Midnight or so, I quit cold turkey, The shakes were bad for 7+ days, BUT I was able to drive, Never had DTs, always felt sick for 2 weeks
Daniels wasn't known for lots of comedy before this, and he's not the Hollywood type, doesn't live there and only takes or pursues the roles he want (and usually gets)
Carrey on the other hand was a comedian, and unique for a time, but got stale, and while he could handle Drama (The Majestic) HE doesn't pursue it

As I recall Walt got the idea for cooking meth during a ride-along with Hank --- NOW can't remember if that was before or after his diagnosis of cancer
AFTER the diagnosis he determines that he doesn't have enough insurance to insure a good enough life for his wife and son, AND it was possible to do so by cooking meth
So he teams up with Jesse and starts cooking and putting the cash aside, and had a million or so in the wall
THEN his cancer went into remission totally --- He'd made all he wanted to -- he could have stopped and gone back to his life
But NOOOOoooooo he continued cooking
That was the worst decision and where he Broke Bad
Beth was boinking Rip, and maybe a couple others in the bunkhouse, just a couple years after her mother dies
As happens she got pregnant
She asked Jaime for help
HE took her to a reservation health clinic where he was told they could do the abortion but would also do a hysterectomy, HE said OK and took Beth inside
In the beginning of the show she was just like all the Indians on the show ---- OUR LAND ---- OUR CULTURE --- And that gets boring
