The guardsmen already surrounded the police officers beforehand, so killing them all must've been the plan all along. They *wanted* to shoot even before getting to the trailer. Poorly written movie.
Macy Gray is a weak 6ft, so even in flats she has Efron by close to four inches.
Event Horizon was good. Soldier was brilliant, and arguably his best film. Mortal Kombat was cheesy fun. Everything else can be filed under garbage.
She's 31 years old by now, so no longer able to get by on youthful looks alone, and her acting abilities have always been strictly limited. It's been almost 8 years since she starred in TFA, and she hasn't managed to stand out or leave a lasting impression in any of the roles she's had since. At this point, it's clear that she's no big box office draw, and she's too limited as an actress to have a career in smaller independent movies. Accordingly, I'm not surprised to see SW being her only option.

Audrey suffered from serious malnourishment after the war, so a lack of curves is entirely expected. That said, she actually had a fairly athletic and fit body, displaying decent muscle tone in some of her movies as well.

Her acting is about as natural as a T-800's, and similarly subtle as Jim Carrey's portrayal of the Grinch, whose affection towards grimacing appears to be shared by Watson. She's even channeling Twilight Kristen Stewart during a few moments there. And don't get me started on the accent. Just awful.
Her performance in The Circle was atrocious. The interview scene in particular was embarassingly bad. She should be thankful she only got nominated.

Pattinson still looks weak. Everything else seems fine, at least for trailer standards.
The age difference between Francesca Annis and Kyle MacLachlan was similarly small in the 1984 version, and I don't recall many taking issue with that. Lady Jessica is supposed to be a somewhat ethereal figure. If anything, Ferguson looked older than Annis did.
If we're talking about age discrepancy, I rather find Oscar Isaac to be unfitting, as he neither is nor looks old enough to portray Leto. I also had a hard time taking him seriously as a fatherly Duke when it came to demeanor and parlance. By comparison, Jurgen Prochnow was much more convincing in the same role back in 1984.
